A woman stands surrounded by pearls appearing like bubbles against a turquoise toned blue background in a dreamy, surreal composition.

The subject of this painting is of one of my hand-sculpted miniature figures which I made specifically as subject matter to paint from when I lived in Berlin. This gives these paintings an extra air of unreality, the figure appears human, but is in fact not and is within a scene that is slightly surreal, real and yet unreal simultaneously.
