Description

This is one of my most recent works and recent series, which I’ve loosely collected until the series title ‘Strange Gatherings’. These paintings are a form of painted collage, where disparate images are painted together on canvas as a cohesive whole, forming a new narrative.

They have a surreal look with realist style painting along with a folk-art look mingled with medieval vibe with people, nature, strange creatures and animals gathered together and intertwined among one another. These paintings invite the viewer to create their own associations and narrative for each image from these imagined scenes and worlds.

Size: 76 x 51 x 1.5 cm original painting. Thin-edged canvas, with brown painted sides, ready to hang as is, or can also be framed if preffered.
